FLU CLINIC -This year's Flu Clinic took place on Thursday 5th November. If you missed the clinic please call the Practice AFTER THURSDAY 12th NOVEMBER as we will be organising additional clinics at the Health Centre once we know how many vaccinations still need to be done.

Out of Hours

If you require medical help at times we are closed please call  NHS24 on their free 111 number. A trained nurse will assess your requirements and contact a GP, ambulance, or other health care professional as required. If you phone our Practice number the call will automatically divert to NHS24, but the call will not be free.

Appointments may be made either by calling into the surgery or by telephoning (01479) 872484. Urgent cases are normally seen on the day when this is appropriate. We aim to offer an appointment with a healthcare clinician within 48 hours, but if you wish to see a specific GP, you may need to book further in advance.

Repeat Prescriptionsmulticolour_pills

Patients will receive letters w/c 15.8.15 advising that we are upgrading our system for ordering repeat prescriptions.

The upgraded service will be linked to our patient records system and is called ‘VisionOnline’. The new system will allow patients to request repeat prescriptions in a similar way to how it is done currently via this website, but with up to date prescription information from the patient record. NB - both systems will run together for a short while, but we will switch off the current system by Christmas, so please ensure you return your registration form.

Patients will also be able to book and cancel appointments on-line. These are both additional services, and patients will still be able to book appointments by phone and order prescriptions by handing in the repeat re-order slip.

We would also like to take the opportunity to update your patient record, and would ask that you return the update slip, which confirms your address, telephone details and next of kin information.

If you wish to use the new online-service please use the Update Slip to enter your e-mail address to request your secure log-in details. You will need to bring this form to the Health Centre, along with a valid form of photographic identification such as a passport or a driving licence. PLEASE DO THIS BETWEEN 3PM AND 5PM. You will then be given your Registration letter with details of how to create your secure account. Click on the VisionOnline link above to access the new system.

Please be aware that if your e-mail address is shared by a number of people in your family, all of them will be able to see details of appointments made or cancelled using the system. If you require more than two forms for your household, they are available from Reception or they can be printed from the link below.

Patient Update & Online Registration Form

Repeat prescriptions are issued for patients receiving prolonged or repeated courses of medication, agreed with the doctor. These may be ordered by handing in the tear-off prescription form to Lloyds Pharmacy or putting it in the red post box at the Health Centre.

Alternatively you can order online by following the instructions above completing the Patient Update & Online Registration Form.

For the convenience of patients, the practice has an arrangement with the local pharmacy in Grantown High Street whereby repeat prescriptions handed in to the surgery are sent to the pharmacy for dispensing. If you do not wish to make use of this facility, please inform the practice manager.

Please allow at least 3 working days for your medication to be dispensed and available for collection at the chemist. If you wish, your signed prescription can be collected from the Health Centre within 48 hours.
