When We Are Closed

Out-of-hours (18:00 - 08:00 Monday – Friday, weekends and some bank holidays) there is always a doctor on call for emergencies.

Please call NHS 24 free on their national number - 111 where a trained nurse will assess your requirements and contact a GP, ambulance, or other health care professional as required. If you phone the surgery number 01479 872484 your call will automatically transfer to NHS 24 but you will be charged for the call.

The out-of-hours doctor is based at a Primary Care Emergency Centre in Aviemore. This is staffed by local GP's, so if you need to see a doctor when the surgery is closed, it will usually be a GP from Grantown, Aviemore, Kingussie or Laggan, who has knowledge of the local area.
